As an antique and vintage dealer running a multi-channel business across eBay, Etsy, and Shopify, I spent more time managing tools than actually selling. Photographing items, writing descriptions, cross-listing inventory, tracking shipments, posting to social media, every task lived in a different app with a different login and a different workflow.
Nothing was built for the way dealers actually work. Generic inventory software didn't understand one-of-a-kind items. Listing tools didn't handle the nuance of provenance, condition, and era. Social media schedulers had no idea what a "Mid-Century Danish teak credenza" even was.
So I built the tool I wished existed. Artifactly started as a personal project, a single dashboard to manage my own inventory, generate AI-powered descriptions that actually understood antiques, and cross-list to eBay, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce without the copy-paste nightmare.
It worked. My listing time dropped. My sell-through rate climbed. Other dealers started asking what I was using.
