8:32 · Watch on YouTube
To connect eBay, Etsy or WooCommerce to Artifactly, open Marketplace Integrations and press Connect. A new Shopify shop connects from Shopify itself: install Artifactly there, then press Link to Artifactly.
Once connected, a sale on one connected marketplace ends the piece on the others. The video also covers connecting your email, Google and Merchant Center, eBay instant sales and the Sync Engine.
About this video: The screens are the real Artifactly app, recorded on a demo shop with made-up stock. The voice is computer-generated.

0:00What connecting a shop does
This video covers Marketplace Integrations: where you connect your own shops to Artifactly, and the Sync Engine that watches them for sales. Once a shop is connected, you can bring its listings in, send your pieces out, and when a piece sells on one connected marketplace, Artifactly ends it on the others. If your Business Profile is not finished, a yellow banner at the top says so, with a Go to Profile button. You can still connect your marketplaces; only Upload Item waits for the profile. The demo shop's profile is complete, so the banner is not showing. The top panel counts what you have connected, the six cards you can connect on this page, under Available, and the three coming soon. Integration Coverage shows how many of the six are connected. The demo shop has Google connected, so it says one of six. Sales Channels holds the four shops Artifactly connects to directly: Shopify, eBay, Etsy and WooCommerce. Each card says Offline until it is connected, and Live once it is.
1:15Connect Shopify from Shopify
The Shopify card has no box for your shop address, and no Connect button. As the card says, a new Shopify shop connects from Shopify: you install Artifactly from the Shopify App Store or your Shopify admin, then press Link to Artifactly on the page that opens. Link to Artifactly opens Artifactly in a new tab. Sign in, or create your account, and your shop links to it, and this card shows Live. Only the owner of an Artifactly account can link a shop. If your shop was connected before, the card shows a Reconnect button with its address instead. Shopify and WooCommerce need the Dealer plan or above. On a plan without them, the card says Connecting Shopify needs the Dealer plan, or the same for WooCommerce, with a Dealer plan button that opens your plans. The demo shop is on Showroom, so it does not show here.
2:16Connect eBay and Etsy
For eBay, press Connect eBay, sign in to your eBay account in the window that opens, and approve Artifactly. Etsy works the same way: press Connect Etsy, and approve Artifactly in the Etsy window. If no window opens, your browser has blocked it, and Artifactly says so. Allow pop-ups for this site, then press Connect again. Under its name, the Etsy card carries Etsy's own notice: Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, and Artifactly uses Etsy's API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
2:58Connect WooCommerce
WooCommerce, for your own website shop, has three boxes. First your shop address, starting with https. Then your WooCommerce API key: the Consumer Key, which starts with c k underscore, and the Consumer Secret, which starts with c s underscore. Press Connect. All three boxes must be filled in, and if anything is wrong, a red message under them explains it.
3:28Import, Upload and Link live listings
Once a sales channel card is Live, it gets more buttons. The demo shop has none of these four connected, so this note shows them. Import reads that shop's listings and lists them, every one ticked. Untick any you do not want, then press the Import button to bring them into Artifactly. Upload lists your active pieces that are not on that marketplace yet, all ticked. Untick any you do not want, then press Push to send them. Link live listings is for pieces you brought in from a file, such as from another tool, that are already live there. It matches them to their live listings by SKU, so nothing is listed twice. It publishes nothing.
4:13eBay region, instant sales, Etsy check
On eBay, Marketplace Region chooses your eBay site: UK, US, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Italy or Spain. Press Save, and new listings use that site. Changing it may mean updating your eBay business policies. Instant sales, also on eBay: when it says On, eBay tells Artifactly about a paid sale straight away, so the piece comes off your other marketplaces sooner. When it is off, press Turn on. Sales are still found every five minutes either way. On Etsy, a line under the name says when Artifactly last read your Etsy listings. It does that every five hours, and the line warns you if it has been more than six. And Disconnect ends that connection, and Artifactly deletes its sign in for that marketplace. If Shopify ends the connection itself, for example when the Artifactly app is uninstalled from your shop, the card says why, under its name.
5:18Email, Google and Merchant Center
Under Email and Productivity are the cards for the Communications page, as the line under the heading says. First, Email. Any email account connects securely with an app password, including Gmail, Yahoo and iCloud. Connect your email takes you to Communications, with the Connect your email window open. Video eighteen shows it step by step. Next to it is Google, for your Calendar, Drive, Sheets and Merchant Center. Before you connect, the card says what Artifactly uses each one for, with a link to how Artifactly uses Google data, and a Connect Google button. Approve what Google asks for in its window. The demo shop has Google connected, so its card shows Live, with its Merchant Center number under the name. Google is not used for your email: as the card says, your email connects separately, on the Email card. A Live Google card has a Merchant Center ID box. Type your Google Merchant Center number and press Save. You then publish to Google Shopping from the Marketplaces page. Disconnect, at the bottom, ends the Google connection. We press neither here.
6:32Vinted, Chairish and 1stDibs
Direct Connections Coming Soon lists Vinted, Chairish and 1stDibs. Their direct connections are coming soon, so they cannot be connected yet. Chairish and 1stDibs say Ready-to-List now, and their logos are in full colour, because you can list there today by copy and paste. Vinted is still faded, because it is coming soon. Copy and paste is on the Marketplaces page, which has its own video.
7:01Sync Engine: sale checks
At the bottom is the Sync Engine. For each marketplace it shows when Artifactly last checked it for sales, how many sales it found in the last 24 hours, and its state. Healthy means all is well. Error or Token Expired means you need to act: read the red message, then connect that marketplace again. Disconnected means it is not connected. eBay, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce are each checked for sales every five minutes, and each tile shows its own last check. A connected Shopify shop also tells Artifactly about a sale the moment it happens. Google Merchant is a product feed, so it says Push on publish, and here, with Google connected, Feed Active. Refresh reads the latest status again. It does not start a check: the checks run by themselves, and the panel also reads them again every 30 seconds. When there has been activity in the last 24 hours, Sync Events lists it underneath: sales, listings ended, any that failed to end, and price and stock updates. And when a sale is found, a message pops up naming the piece and where its other listings were ended. That is Marketplace Integrations. The next video shows how to upload a piece: its title, its description and its price.
