0:00Editing a piece

This video finishes the Upload Item window: the marketplace details, the photos and the video. So that the boxes have something in them, we will open one of the demo shop's pieces from Inventory Control with Edit. It is the same window, called Update Product when you edit a piece. We will go down to Fashion and Marketplace Specifics.

0:25Vinted details and product safety

First, Vinted Specifics. Choose a Department, and a Category list appears, then an Item Type list, each from Vinted's own groups. Then the Brand, a Colour from Vinted's palette, and Vinted's Condition. Pro Seller Compliance holds the product safety details that business sellers give under the EU product safety rules: the manufacturer's name, postal address and email, the fabric composition for textiles, whether there is a CE mark, the VAT rate, and any safety warnings. A direct Vinted connection is coming soon. Until then, these details are ready to copy on the Marketplaces page, in Quick Copy.

1:11Poshmark

Poshmark Specifics works the same way: Department, then Category, then Item Type. Poshmark has closed in the UK, so these boxes are only for sellers who use it elsewhere. The pink note reminds you that Poshmark's Style Tags are further down, in Fashion and Textile Logistics.

1:30eBay category and condition

eBay Specifics. eBay Category is a live search of eBay's own categories. Type what the piece is, and pick the best match. The exact category number is kept for you, ready for eBay. eBay Shop Category is optional. It files the listing under one of your own eBay shop categories, so it needs your eBay shop connected and an eBay Shop subscription. Under it is eBay's Condition: new, used, or for parts.

2:03Etsy category, who made it and when

Etsy Specifics. This piece already has its Etsy category, marked Ready. The cross changes it, and opens the same kind of live search, this time of Etsy's categories. Who made it? and When was it made? are Etsy's own questions. For a vintage or antique piece made by someone else, choose Another company or person. Etsy counts a piece as vintage only if it is at least twenty years old. Left empty, Artifactly fills both when the piece goes to Etsy: who made it from your Business Profile, and when from the piece's era, title or description. Etsy Shipping chooses which of your Etsy shipping profiles the piece uses. Leave it on Auto-detect, the recommended choice, and one is picked to suit the piece's size and weight. The demo shop has no Etsy connected, so the line under the list says so: your own profiles appear in the list once Etsy is connected on Marketplace Integrations.

3:07Clothing and textiles

Fashion and Textile Logistics is for clothing and textiles: department and gender, clothing and shoe sizes, and Style Tags for Poshmark. Then pattern, neckline, sleeve length and occasion; the fit, and the pit to pit, length, waist, inseam and rise, in centimetres; and the material composition. They are ready to copy in Quick Copy, and the department also goes to eBay.

3:36Photos and AI Auto-Fill from Photo

Now Product Photos. With a photo in place, AI Auto-Fill from Photo appears. It searches the web using your first photo, then fills the empty boxes: title, description, era, style, materials, colours, condition, category and more. Like the description version in video seven, it tags what it filled about the maker, era, origin and material, and it never changes your price. Drop all product photos here takes up to fourteen at once: twelve product photos and two staging photos. They upload and fill the slots in order. Browse Files picks them from your computer instead. Each photo has its own slot, and the first slot is the photo shown on the piece's card. Under every slot, Or paste a photo link takes the web address of a photo instead of a file. Every photo has two small round buttons at its top corners. The red cross, Remove photo, takes it out of its slot. The other one, Edit Photo, opens the Photo Editor.

4:46Photo Editor: crop and background

In the Photo Editor, the sliders set Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. Smart Adjust lifts all three a little in one press, and Reset puts them back. Crop lets you drag a box over the part of the photo to keep, then press Apply Crop. Cancel Crop leaves it as it was. Remove Background cuts the piece out onto white, using AI, and Touch Up Edges then lets you tidy the outline. It can take a minute or more, so we will not run it here. Save Edited Photo puts the edited photo into its slot. We will press Discard, which closes the editor and leaves the photo as it was.

5:29Product video

Last, Product Video. Drop in one video, or click to choose it: MP4, MOV or WebM, up to fifty megabytes. We will press Cancel, so nothing on this piece changes. That is the whole Upload Item window. The next video is Inventory Control, where you find, choose and send your pieces.
