Import your stock from a spreadsheet, eBay, Etsy or Shopify
4:36 · Watch on YouTube
Bring your stock into Artifactly three ways: a CSV or Excel file with Bulk Import, Import from a connected marketplace, or Refresh from Shopify.
Bulk Import recognises exports from Sellbrite, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, Linnworks, Vendoo, Crosslist, Nembol and Veeqo, and you check how its columns were matched before anything is saved.
About this video: The screens are the real Artifactly app, recorded on a demo shop with made-up stock. The voice is computer-generated.
Questions this video answers
How do I move my stock from Vendoo, Crosslist or Sellbrite?
It recognises the files made by Sellbrite, eBay's active listings report, Etsy's listings download, Shopify's products export, old and new, WooCommerce, Linnworks, Vendoo, Crosslist, Nembol and Veeqo. Press Bulk Import. It takes a CSV or Excel file: an export from the tool you use now, or a spreadsheet of your own.
Can I import my eBay and Etsy listings?
Import lists the listings that are live on that marketplace now. Filter by title or SKU, tick the ones you want, and press Import. On Marketplace Integrations, once a shop is connected, its card has three buttons: Import, Upload, and Link live listings.
Will importing list anything twice?
And if these pieces are already live on eBay, Etsy, Shopify or WooCommerce, press Link live listings afterwards, so nothing is listed twice. Anything already in Artifactly is marked, and is not ticked.

0:00Three ways to bring stock in
This video shows the ways to bring the stock you already have into Artifactly: a spreadsheet, a connected marketplace, or your Shopify shop. Uploading a spreadsheet happens here, in Inventory Control. The Marketplaces page only downloads CSV files; it does not take them in.
0:23Bulk Import: which files it reads
Press Bulk Import. It takes a CSV or Excel file: an export from the tool you use now, or a spreadsheet of your own. It recognises the files made by Sellbrite, eBay's active listings report, Etsy's listings download, Shopify's products export, old and new, WooCommerce, Linnworks, Vendoo, Crosslist, Nembol and Veeqo. Any other spreadsheet works too: its columns are matched by their names. Click the box, or drag your file onto it. Here we drop in a small made-up spreadsheet with three pieces, to show what happens. Nothing will be imported.
1:09Checking the matched columns
Once a file is in, the window fills up. Its middle scrolls, like this, and the Import button stays at the bottom, always in view. We will go through it from the top. The box at the top says what it found. This file was not made by a tool it knows, so the columns were matched by name, ready for you to check. The three pieces will come in as drafts, and nothing goes on sale. It also reminds you to keep the page open until the import finishes, because after saving the pieces it copies their photos into your own storage. And if these pieces are already live on eBay, Etsy, Shopify or WooCommerce, press Link live listings afterwards, so nothing is listed twice. Which column holds what lists every box a piece can have: title, SKU, price, description, quantity, cost, sizes and more. Each one shows the column it was matched to. Change any of them, or choose Not in this file. Photo columns shows which columns hold photo links. A ticked column is used for photos; press a column to tick it or untick it.
2:24Stock files, preview and import
Stock files is optional. If your stock counts are kept in a separate file, one for each warehouse, add them here with Add stock file. Quantities for the same SKU are added up. Preview shows the first five rows of your file, as they were read. Import, at the bottom, then saves them. Here it reads Import 3 Products. Any row that cannot be imported is listed with the reason, and you can download those rows as a file to fix and import again. We will close the window with the cross instead.
3:01Import from a connected marketplace
The second way is straight from a marketplace. On Marketplace Integrations, once a shop is connected, its card has three buttons: Import, Upload, and Link live listings. The demo shop has nothing connected, so here the cards only offer Connect. Import lists the listings that are live on that marketplace now. Anything already in Artifactly is marked, and is not ticked. Filter by title or SKU, tick the ones you want, and press Import. Upload works the other way. It lists your active pieces that are not on that marketplace yet, lets you choose a listing template, and sends the ones you tick.
3:49Link live listings
Link live listings is for pieces you brought in from a spreadsheet that are already for sale on eBay, Etsy, Shopify or WooCommerce. It matches each live listing to your piece by SKU. It checks first and shows you what it will do, writes only when you press Link, and publishes nothing.
4:10Refresh from Shopify
The third way is for Shopify. Back in Inventory Control, Refresh from Shopify pulls in your latest Shopify products and updates the list. That is how to bring your stock in. The next video is the Marketplaces page: Google, your master sheet, and sending many pieces at once.
