Send many items to eBay or Etsy at once, plus Google Shopping

5:34 · Watch on YouTube

Send many items at once lists every active item not yet on eBay, Etsy, Shopify or WooCommerce, all ticked: untick any to keep back, then press Push.

This video also covers connecting Google, your master inventory Google Sheet, export history and publishing to Google Shopping, and when not to because Shopify already sends your stock there.

What you need: eBay, Etsy and Google Shopping work on every plan. Shopify, WooCommerce and the master sheet need the Dealer or Showroom plan.

About this video: The screens are the real Artifactly app, recorded on a demo shop with made-up stock. The voice is computer-generated.

Questions this video answers

How do I list lots of items on eBay or Etsy at once?

It is for the marketplaces Artifactly connects to directly: eBay, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce. A window lists every active item that is not on eBay yet, all ticked. Untick any you want to keep back, choose a listing template if you have one, then press the Push button at the bottom.

How do I put my stock on Google Shopping?

It appears once Google is connected and your Merchant Center ID is saved on Marketplace Integrations, as on the demo shop. Publish All to Google Shopping sends your active items to Google Shopping. If you use Shopify's own Google and YouTube channel, your items may already be on Google Shopping, and publishing here as well could make duplicates.

What is the master inventory sheet for?

Your master sheet is one Google Sheet listing your stock, and the Export to Drive buttons on the cards read from it.

0:00The Marketplaces page

This video covers the top of the Marketplaces page: Google, your master inventory sheet, and sending many items at once to the marketplaces Artifactly connects to. The line under the title says what the page is for: listing your items on more marketplaces. Each card further down says how that marketplace takes new stock, and Download CSV gives you a file of your items laid out for it, or you can save it to Google Drive. Underneath is an important note. This page only downloads CSV files. To bring your own spreadsheet into Artifactly, you use Bulk Import on Inventory Control, and the Open Bulk Import button takes you straight there. This is Bulk Import. Click or drag a CSV or Excel file into the box. Exports from Sellbrite, Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Etsy and more are recognised. Bulk Import has its own video, so we close it here with the cross. As on every page, Show Guide opens the help for this page right here, and the question mark next to the title opens the same help in a window.

1:13Connect Google once

Top right is the Google button. Before you connect, it reads Connect Google, One-Time. Press it once, and a Google window asks you to let Artifactly use your Google Calendar, for your bookings, your Drive, only for the export files Artifactly makes, your Sheets, for the inventory sheet you name, and your Merchant Center, for Google Shopping. The demo shop has Google connected, so the button reads Google Connected, Auto-Renew. Artifactly keeps the link fresh by itself, and pressing the button again simply asks Google for the permissions afresh. The note under it says your Google data is used only for these features: never for advertising, never sent to AI, and never used to train AI.

2:01Master Inventory Sheet ID

Below is Master Inventory Sheet ID. Your master sheet is one Google Sheet listing your stock, and the Export to Drive buttons on the cards read from it. Paste the sheet's ID into this box. The ID is the long run of letters and numbers in the sheet's web address, just after slash d slash. Google is connected and the box is empty, so a Create from Database button shows just above it, on the right. It makes a new Google Sheet called Artifactly Master Inventory from your active items, fills in the ID for you, and opens the sheet in a new tab. We do not press it here. Check sheet reads your sheet and tells you how many of its rows are items you still have for sale. It needs Google and a sheet ID, and the box is empty here, so it is greyed out. Once a check works, this browser remembers the ID, and a green line says Sheet connection verified, with the time of your last export.

3:07New items only and export history

New Items Only is a switch. Press it and it reads Export All. With New Items Only, each export leaves out the items already exported for that marketplace, so you get just the new ones. Export All puts in every item. The switch works for Download CSV on the cards too. After a check, that green line also has a Reset Export History button. It asks first, then clears your shop's record of what has already been exported, so every item for sale counts as new on your next export. Each computer keeps its own list of what it sent, so if you also export from another computer, reset it there as well.

3:48Send many items at once

Next is Send many items at once. It is for the marketplaces Artifactly connects to directly: eBay, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce. Press Send to eBay, for example. A window lists every active item that is not on eBay yet, all ticked. Untick any you want to keep back, choose a listing template if you have one, then press the Push button at the bottom. Items already on that marketplace are left out, so nothing is listed twice, and if everything is already there, a message says so instead. Each marketplace must be connected first, in Marketplace Integrations, as the line underneath says. Shopify and WooCommerce come with the Dealer and Showroom plans.

4:36Google Shopping

Under it is Google Shopping. It appears once Google is connected and your Merchant Center ID is saved on Marketplace Integrations, as on the demo shop. It shows your Merchant ID and says Ready. Publish All to Google Shopping sends your active items to Google Shopping. We do not press it here. It carries a warning. If you use Shopify's own Google and YouTube channel, your items may already be on Google Shopping, and publishing here as well could make duplicates. The link under it opens a seven step guide to connecting Shopify to Google Merchant Center instead. The cross closes the guide. So use Publish All only if you do not sell through Shopify or WooCommerce. If either one is connected, Artifactly refuses it, to keep your Google listings clean. Further down are the nineteen marketplace cards. The next video goes through every one of them.
